Mission & Outreach

“Do all the good you can,
By all the means you can,
In all the ways you can,
In all the places you can,
At all the times you can,
To all the people you can,
As long as ever you can.”

John Wesley, Founder of Methodism

Getting out into the community to meet our neighbors.  Thank you God for people who touch our lives everyday.  This day the people of Amelon were blessed.

Amelon United Methodist Church is involved in local community missions as well as other missions.

Helping Hands
Community Cheer baskets
The local community of churches work together providing food baskets during the holidays to local families with great need

Parkview Mission
Park View provides help, healing and hope to families and individuals in need by coming alongside them, engaging them in loving relationships and connecting them with life-changing resources.  Many of Amelon’s members volunteer on a weekly basis and on occasion, we participate in  serving dinner.

Park View Community Mission is such a blessing to all who walk through their doors, whether you’re there in need or to serve,  be a part of something bigger than yourself,  you will be blessed.  Please contact Gordy Harper at  director@parkviewmission.org or go to the Park View web page to volunteer-
